Residents and visitors within Kuala Lumpur City Business District (CBD) can get FREE rides on GO KL City Bus that operates on two routes; Green Line and Purple Line. The aim of the service is to improve public mobility into the Kuala Lumpur Centre Business District by providing easier access to public transportation.

It is also to encourage tourist to conveniently enter Kuala Lumpur city centre for shopping attractions and points of interest. It is intended to reduce the numbers of cars entering the CBD during peak hours.

GO KL City bus is an alternative to Hop On Hop Off service catering to tight schedule tourist who want to see Kuala Lumpur in a day. While the former is Free and ply the Centre Business district, the latter make stops at tourist attraction centres.
