Kedah Legend Tourism Month 2015
Pekan Melayu and Pekan China was the first settlement that brought up growth of Alor City. A small port at Tanjung Chali at the confluence of Sungai Kedah and Sungai Anak Bukit was abuzz with trading activities in the early years of Alor Setar besides being the confluence of people from all over Kedah using river transportation.
